So far in high school, I have taken a variety of courses. These include 1 semester of Writers' Composition, 1 semester of World Geography, and a full year of English/Literature, Physical Science, Physical Health, Geometry, Computer Fundamentals, 10th Grade Honors English/Literature, Biology, Computer Science II, World History, Spanish I, and Algebra II. So far, I have taken 2 years of Physical Education.
My favorite course this year is Algebra II. I love to solve problems and try to figure things out. Figuring out equations, angles, and more is actually very difficult. You have to remember many formulas to be able to solve the problems. I find it fun and interesting to find the different types of answers for the various types of problems.
I have had the honors of being awarded second highest individual in the Geometry class. Also, for the past two years, the Lady Cats basketball team won State Runner-Up this season. That was a tremendous honor and experience. This year after the recent, tragic tornados, I had the honor of helping with the community service aspect of the cleanup process. I helped 2 different days at the Mitchell County EMC to make 300+ sandwiches for the linemen working to gain power back in the affected areas.
